Focus on building your cavalry first, though, as they're the fastest and most dynamic troop type for use in attacks at the outset, and they hold more resources when gathering or raiding enemy castles.

Make sure to choose heroes that complement each other and can work together to create devastating attacks or defend your base effectively. Later in the game, your success will come down to hero combinations and technology (and gear, to some degree), so it's important to build your collection of advanced (S and X-level) heroes as quickly as you can.
